About Us
Cardunal Community Cares (CCC), publicly known as the Dundee Township Foundation (DTF), is a local, volunteer-driven nonprofit 501(c)(3) dedicated to supporting the senior residents of the Dundee Township area who are facing food insecurity and other essential needs.
Founded in 2019, CCC exists for one simple reason: to help our neighbors when they need it most. We serve seniors with dignity, compassion, and consistency—without regard to race, creed, or background.

Our Mission
The mission of Cardunal Community Cares is to provide relief to residents in need. We accomplish this by offering:
- Hoping Repair Assistance
- Food Assistance
- Clothing Support
For many individuals—especially seniors—food insecurity affects more than hunger. It impacts health, independence, and overall quality of life. CCC helps fill the gaps that are not supported by government programs by addressing immediate needs and helping reduce hunger and malnutrition.
Who We Serve
CCC primary supports:
- Seniors living independently or in managed housing.
- Homebound individuals within the Dundee Township experiencing food insecurity.
- Residents with disabilities or limited access to transportation.
Many of our clients rely on door-to-door delivery, allowing them to receive essential food safely and consistently in their own homes.
How We Serve Our Community
Our food pantry and delivery program operate through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners. We rely on donated food for meat, produce, bread, and pantry items, while CCC purchases vital staples to ensure consistency and nutritional balance for bi-monthly deliveries.
Our outreach model includes:
- Volunteer led client phone check-ins and order coordination.
- Volunteer-packed food orders.
- Bi-monthly door-to-door delivery to Dundee Township residents.
Beyond food, CCC also supports residents through community outreach and resource assistance along with limited supplemental essentials when available, helping individuals remain safe, healthy, and independent.
